THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF OUIR BUSINESS,we take great pride in the skill involved passed on through generations.All our Kilts are HAND SEWN WITH AN AVERAGE OF 6,000 STITCHES IN EACH ONE.We intend to keep it this way,that is why we have recently joined the Kiltmakers association to assure our customers of our quality and hopefully give the public a general guarantee of workmanship when buying a kilt,as so many inferior quality kilts are now being manufactured.
ISOBEL MACDONALD has now been making Kilts for 61 years and no kilt will leave our shop until Isobel is totally satisfied it is up to standard.
All Kilts can be altered at any time for a minimal cost if you lose or gain weight, or even re-made.
A KILT SHOULD LAST A LIFETIME,POSSIBLY A Family heirloom if looked after correctly.

The most popular formal style worn with a bow tie ,although the trend at the moment is to add a 5 button vest and a ruche tie (cravat) both cost the same.

 also available in colours.

A semi-formal outfit to suit most occasions, normally worn with a belt & tie rather than a vest and bow tie, although it is possible to purchase an Argyll 5 button vest.
Also available in colours.

A more typical day jacket worn with or without vest

A range of more casual looking waistcoats and jackets are available,this one is called the frontier vest it has silver coloured buttons and small tails on the front and back. (buttons can be changed)

A very plain casual looking vest with capped shoulders and 2 button front ,this stule can be made with sleeves for an additional £15.00
